Princess St. and the Princess St. Gardens from the New Town of Edinburgh. It was rather cold on my first day to Edinburgh. I woke up early (4 am) to take the Oxford Tube to Heathrow. Breakfast at Debenhams was great becoz it had a good view!

A lot of visitors for a rainy day! View from the Edinburgh Castle You need to scale these rocks to get to the top for any assault. Entering the castle may be a perilous task those days.
All pictures are taken at the majestic Edinburgh Castle just an top of the Royal Mile. I even got there on time after reading bout the firing of the guns from Zhi Xin's blog. Unfortunately, I did not see anything. Perhaps, the guns did not fire becoz it was raining heavily at the time. Sigh...what luck!
